This course provides a brief introduction to Computer Assisted Translation Tools (CAT tools). It describes the concepts involved in general terms and is likely to be of most benefit to people who are relatively new to this technology. This course is intended to make possible adoption of tools such as Trados, SDLX, Deja-Vu, Wordfast, or Omega-T etc. less painful.
